I’d been tutoring for over a decade and had built a series of successful courses. Due to some new projects I’d started and changes I’d made, business was going great. Too great. (I tend to have an obsessive personality, which sometimes leads me to take on too much.)
As a result, I had more students than I could handle, and it started to impact my personal life. I didn’t have time to properly address the soft “lifestyle” factors. When I realized that I’d over-scheduled myself to the point that I barely had a free night to see friends, spend time with my SO, or have a proper meal, I knew I had to make a change.
So I reached out to Nemo. Right off the bat, he asked several guiding questions – probing areas I never even thought of, and raising possibilities I couldn’t have imagined or previously dismissed. He led me to re-examine everything.
I have to admit, I’m stubborn. I immediately dismissed and pushed back on some of his suggestions, and he was ok with that. But, upon reflection, I often found myself agreeing with him and incorporating his ideas into my business.
The result? I was able to be more selective about my clients – choosing the ones for whom I could generate the biggest results and could work best with. All while raising my rates and reducing the time necessary to get them the results they need.

While I’m extremely happy with the result of my work with Nemo, I’m not done with him yet. I’m still excited for the future and continue to use him as a valuable resource as I continue to grow and expand my business further, figuring out additional ways to serve my target market.
One of the best results? Improving my own clients’ success further, while having more time for friends and family and my personal self-care.
